You will have a howling good time pieceing this quilt top together. This original pattern was created by me, and inspired by a few different customers. I recently had a customer place a some silhouette requests. They were great fun to make. Then I remembered someone once suggesting a Wolf howling at the moon. This design is the result.
The quilt pattern comes with instructions for 3 sizes: 36x42 and additional 24x28 and 48x56 inches. The small size makes for a great wall hanging, or center to a larger quilt.
Though the design only has 4 colors, I really enjoyed picking out the fabrics. You can see from the sample that I used a solid black for the wolf, a very small print for the yellow, and marble gray for the stone, and just for fun a star print in the blue sky.
All my patterns are designed the same way. With 3 easy steps: Cut strips, cross cut pieces, and then sew
The pattern lists fabric yardage, then uses charts to show the number of strips to cut and the number of pieces to cut from those strips. The entire top is then sewn using straight 1/4" seams following a full page color image of the quilt top. The shaping is done with quick corner triangles.
You are ordering a 5 page PDF format quilt pattern to be downloaded once payment has been received and then printed by you. The pattern is meant to be printed in color.
